Research Interests:Developing computational approaches for genomic and biomedical data analysis. My research combines statistics, machine learning, and bioinformatics to create tools and methods that help understand complex biological systems and extract meaningful insights from high-throughput data.
I completed my Ph.D. in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Shandar Ahmad. Prior to that, I earned my M.Tech. in Computer Science & Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (2007-2009) under Prof. T.V. Vijay Kumar, and both M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University (2004-2006 and 2001-2004 respectively). My professional journey includes positions as Assistant Professor at University of Delhi, Scientist-II at JNU, Data Scientist at NextGen Invent, and Research Associate at the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute. Currently, I am pursuing postdoctoral training in Dr. Hari Yalamanchili's lab at Baylor College of Medicine.
